My Notes on accommodation is few and far between, because the Internet is full of offers, and each is guaranteed to find what lay FEATURE sizes / / / award well deserved by him / her fit, provided patient search . Maybe have found over the years, I am in the fortunate position after years of trying my place in Venice. Except for W eiteres ...
In this entry I would like to point to offers in (former) venezian 's monasteries, because they do not stumble on so easily in Internet and they are for specific target groups ne an ideal solution, such as children - are better and cheaper and youth groups, for 4 or 6 rooms as hotels, or young families with small children who sleep better together in a room, or long-term visitors on a budget, such as pensioners.
Some stores (which are primarily students, but during the holidays are available) are klos termäßig beschränkt.Die to one sex monasteries usually have something like night lock, then as 23 clock to get there no longer pure, but that's out of my term problem, because in Venice is at night time now and nothing going on until 22:30 clock you're done with dinner.
The buildings are mostly beautiful, interesting, spacious, well Well managed egt and you can only visit as a guest, also often included churches. There are gardens, cloisters (of course not everywhere), the rooms are often larger than in hotels, the service is usually friendly. All in all, a good alternative that you can at least try to take a look.
Here are links to each monastery offers I researched, but non t even have tried, but I know from Venice friends whose attempts were positive. On reports from readers, I would be very d ankbar and would possibly like to publish (anonymously if desired).

Next Saturday, 18.12. you can admire the stars through the telescope of San Marco and explore with the assistance of skilled people.
It was during the year, already some stargazing dates in Mestre, on the Lido.
This last event of the year in the middle of town is a nice offer, free of charge and without registration, and it is mainly used for environmental education: it is about the light pollution of large cities. reduce
What neither the curiosity of children and adults, nor is the enthusiasm of romantic souls: broadcast of the Piazzetta in the sky!
The city of Venice will darken the lights of Piazzetta and Piazza to facilitate the observation of stars, which will surely make for an unusual atmosphere for all visitors.
In unsuitable weather, the date postponed to 15 January 2011.
